After years of working as part of different acts, we wanted to create our own show dedicated to a singular figure from Indian music. A lot of thought went into who the show should be about and we picked A.R. Rahman because his compositions are extremely challenging to perform live since a lot of them relies on studio treatment but we at Panamera thrive on challenges and this was just an exhilarating feat for us to perform and achieve and hence, materialised our in house special- Mozart of Madras.

 

A.R.Rahman is to contemporary Indian music what Mozart is to Western Classical Music. Both these composers have stood the test of time and proved themselves to be transcendental and legendary artists and this show is to honour our very own Mozart of Madras.
